Roar of the Silence
The roar of my soul deafens me
as I dim the volume on life,
drowning me in a sea of cries.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
she screams in anguish.
I have been calling you.
In stillness I answer the voices of my spirit
One by one.
The angers, angsts, anxieties,
The sadness, fears and tears.
They will not release me until I acknoweldge
their right to be.
Is as important as mine.
Who’d have thought
in stillness I’d find
a heart buried deeply.
But thank God,
Still Alive.
