Golden Ever Present Sun

“Don’t miss the moment passing,”
angels whisper…

In the Light of fading day
Life slips into eternity
as Sun softly slips away.

Dusk paints the sky in golden glow.
Earth smiles then gently sighs.
Soft winds caress the desert floor.
Birds sing sweet lullabies.

“Sweet sun, see you soon,” I say,
I kiss the day goodbye.
Time to dream our cares away
’till once again we rise.

Still there behind the earth you shine
as in the sky, in hearts, and I.

Living, breathing, pulsing light…
Shines… even in the dark of night.
