V-BAR
V-Bar Heritage Site
Sedona, AZ
V-Bar Heritage Site is a brief stop, but well worth the short trek and the modest entry fee if you like rock art. On a single large panel you will see more markings than you can believe!
Spirals, zigzags, squares, dots, suns, animals, and human figures all grace this wall. V-Bar may have been a stop along the trade routes for many ancient peoples, or as others theorize, a sacred place where medicine men and elders recorded the markings of spirit.
Although no one really knows their origin, you are sure to be delighted with all the ancient markings!
