SLIDE ROCK
Slide Rock is beautiful in all seasons – Vibrant green forests in the spring and summer are dotted by color in the fall, then engulfed in mist or snow in the winter.
If you’re here in the winter, enjoy a silent walk in the park, accompanied only by the breeze, the babbling brook, and occasional bird song.

Things to bring:
In the summer, wear your swimsuit and sturdy shorts over it if you plan to slide. If you have water shoes or old sneakers to wear in the creek, these will make it much easier on your feet! Bring a towel, sunscreen, lunch, water, a good book, and a camera. Enjoy!
Fees:
Check with the US Forest Service for pass and fee information before your trip. A Red Rock Pass is required for parking in most locations.
