Over a month ago I had an “epic dream” – the kind that sticks with me for a lifetime, instead of dissolving, as most do, the minute I move out of bed. In the dream I was with a large crowd of people. We were walking in unison, in the still calm eye of a hurricane so massive and powerful that it dwarfed the crowds. We were unafraid. We stopped to take pictures and marvel at the beauty of the eye wall. We were awed by the massive ferocity of the storm swirling around us, while we walked in the stillness with starry skies above. We breathed in the balmy night air, feeling a blissful peace. We all reached our cars, peacefully got in them, and began to drive home. There were lines and it was crowded traffic, but we knew we’d all be well. I woke up feeling a deep, deep peace.
The storms are coming. We know from the news that this could be one of the most intense hurricane seasons on record. The angel who comes through my friend Summer Bacon in deep trance, has said in this talk that September and October are going to be intense with swift events one after the other that make some believe the world is ending. It isn’t. He said in a further talk that we can “release our love” into the world and prevent earthquakes. We are the ones who with our prayers, our love, and our commitment to practice peace, can calm and soothe energies that would otherwise create greater chaos.
I have known and read about many people who have survived intense storms and disasters because they were at peace. I once knew a woman who faced a 200 ft wall of wildfire coming at her. She was hosing down the roof of a house she was watching, when she realized the futility of her efforts. She sat down on the roof, and went into deep prayer. She passed out and woke up safe, at a distance, with the home she was watching still intact. A friend in the Midwest, just recounted her story of praying through a storm that passed through the area with 90-100mph sustained winds. She came out of it with barely any damage to home or property. Her prayers, faith, and surrender protected her, while neighboring areas sustained considerably more damage.
I’ve seen prayer steer storms out to sea. I’ve seen it call the rains to soothe the fires. I’ve felt the effects of Mother Earth’s pressures being released through my own body at times, and same for others who play in the light. We are not helpless. We are powerful. It is time to practice peace.
So while it may look pretty intense in the upcoming few months, we’re going to get through this and come out the other side, and we’re going to come out of it with a deep love and appreciation for life, love, and one another.
Practice peace. Start now, so you can remain calm, instead of getting sucked into fear. In peace, you’ll be guided safely. In peace you’ll avoid getting sucked into anger. In peace, you are guided, you know truth, and you won’t be fooled by the blame and shame games you might see around us.
Practice peace, pray and relax in the arms of the Divine, knowing that as we raise our vibration and love in any way we can, we become the change we wish to see in the world.
Here are a few pointers to help you remain peaceful…
1. Practice going to your place of peace in your inner world
This is the exercise the angels gave us this week:
Breathe deeply. Think of a situation – either real or imagined – in which you feel deep peace. It can be a place you have visited, a place you have seen in a movie, or one you imagined in your wildest dreams. It may be a memory of being in your lover’s arms, or the first time you held your newborn child. It could be a moment of snuggling with your dog or petting your purring cat. It may be a time you watched the sunrise, listened to the birds, walked in the forest, or sat upon the sea shore. Shut your eyes for a moment and see what comes to mind.
Now, shut your eyes once again and imagine being in this place of peace. Breathe deeply. Relax. Feel it. Breathe. Relax. Feel. Take some time to bask in the deep peaceful feeling, as if you are really in this place or moment in time. there. See if you can memorize this feeling. How does peace feel in your body? Notice your quiet mind. When you are ready, open your eyes. See if you can bring up this feeling of peace with eyes open.
2. Take Peace Breaks
Go outside and look at the sky. Take time to listen to bird song. Googlge “good news” or read inspiring stories. Enjoy, appreciate, admire and love everything and everyone you can, by choice, on purpose.
The practices and feelings of appreciation, love, and admiration create scientifically proven, biological changes in our hearts and brains that calm our bodies and minds
3. Love, love, love, love yourself and others
When you do anything loving for yourself or another, you feel most like you and you ripple gentle waves of peace out into the world. You comfort yourself. You inspire others. You become a beacon in the dark, and a sanctuary for hurting hearts. Love more than you ever have before. All acts of love count. There is no such thing as an insignificant act of love.
Our peace is a mighty force that can mitigate disasters in ways we won’t even understand till we look back from heaven.
If you’re in a disaster prone area, by all means be prepared. Just as importantly, let us all prepare spiritually. In peace and prayer, we can protect whole neighborhoods, plug into our guidance, and sail through or avoid the storms altogether. You can be the one to choose peace, emanate peace, and create a vibration of peace that all the chaos of the world cannot penetrate.
Love you all,
Ann
