A few weeks ago, after someone tried to suck me into a 3D argument about how we should solve all the world’s problems, I realized that I needed to disengage. I know what my calling is. I know what my beliefs are, and I know how I serve best.
I am not motivated by panic, fear, or anger. Instead, by keeping my soul in a joyful, high vibe, I can not only work full time, do newsletters, social media inspirations, and answer hundreds of emails but also spend hours every week in meditation, silent presence and prayer for both individuals and the world.
The unknown in the external world no longer bothers me because I manifest. Although I never know how things will come, I know what I’m creating. I spend time each day when I first awaken, imagining my ideal day and how I want to feel at the end of the day. When I have time, I imagine whatever big things I’m currently creating and how they will feel then I let them go, knowing if I don’t get in the way with doubt, fear, and my own attempts to control life, everything I want and need will come at the perfect time. This is just how the universe operates when we cooperate.
The quality of my thoughts is one of the most important things to me in my own life. The minute I notice one that doesn’t feel good, I choose one that feels better. The more I pick thoughts that delight me, the happier I get, the more energy I have, the more I hear my guidance, and the quicker I manifest. Sometimes it is easier than others, but with practice it can be fun. I have a little saying about life. “I don’t waste time hating, waiting, or debating! I’m creating!”
I’m not afraid of dying. I’ve already been given the option consciously a few times and know that if you intend to stay, and pray to stay, and have a reason to stay, you’ll stay unless it is in your soul’s life-plan to go home sooner. Even then, I changed my pre-life plan. Now is always the momet of creation.
When I heard a few weeks ago that Corona was going up in Arizona, I was suddenly motivated to go to the grocery at 3pm one afternoon to spread peace and well-being. As I walked around, I felt the energy flowing outwards towards certain individuals, and knew the Divine was doing its healing thing through my body while I gathered up some fresh food to feast on.
I’m not afraid of losing things. I have had to give up so much this lifetime – a house, a home, a marriage, friends, sugar, gluten, a prestigious career, and much more over the years only to find that I was making room for a better, healthier, happier existence.
Even though I offer a great deal of inspiration in public, I’m not trying to change the world. I’m trying to love it, and if by example I help it change for the better, I am happy for the ability to do so. If not its ok. I am being the best Ann I can be and that’s good enough.
I have made peace with the fact that I don’t have to change anyone’s beliefs or ideas. I offer my own with love, and listen to theirs. More on that next week since the angels said that’s a topic that merits a whole newsletter.
So even though the world is going through wild and difficult growth right now, I am committed to choosing love, choosing joy, choosing to create rather than hate, debate, or wait. I am choosing to be part of the solutions by listening, serving as guided, and not getting sucked into “how awful it is out there.”
“In here,” inside of my heart, in the vibrational reality within, I choose, to the best of my ability, a beautiful, loving, healthy, reality. Am I perfect at it? Not yet but that’s not going to stop me from constantly trying to raise my energy higher and higher, and find the Divine within more strongly each day, so I can better serve all of you.
The angels are right. We can choose love or fear, peace or anger, embrace inner freedom or feel victimized by outer restrictions. We can be the change we wish to see in the world, or try to change the world so we can feel better. Option A is more effective, always.
Be gentle with yourselves these days. Do your best to comfort and be kind to yourself. Engage in self-healing and nurturing practices such as meditation, salt baths to clear energy, walks, listening to music, cooking or anything that makes you feel more connected to joy. When the news gets to be too much turn it off. Pray to be guided as to how you can best serve and then trust what is in your heart.
These are deeply challenging and yet amazing transformational times. We can make good use of them to come out the other side of it, lighter, brighter, happier, healthier, and more evolved.
Here are a few pointers to help you embrace the world now and weather the challenges kindly.
1. Treat your energy like food
You wouldn’t force yourself to eat trash so don’t force yourself to take in things that upset your spirit. Instead take in vibrations that uplift and inspire you. Watch inspiring or educational Youtube videos. Read things that uplift you. If you have to be around negative people send them love and light so you remain in a positive vibe. If you feel negative or scared reach out for help, comfort, or do something to nurture your spirit.
Self-care is very important now. Feeding ourselves energies that bring us up rather than drag us down is important. If you ate something nasty, you’d spit it out and immediately wash away the bad taste with something good.
Likewise, when you think about a problem, immediately challenge yourself to imagine and feel a few possible solutions. When I think about Covid I imagine thousands of people ripping off masks, headlines that say, “Where did the virus go,” and people hugging one another again. When I think about racial tensions I envision a world where we delight in diversity. When I think about the political divisiveness, I give thanks that God is God and pray for those in office to be uplifted and filled with wisdom.
Feed your spirit with things that uplift you. When possible avoid things that drag you down.
2. When fear arises send it love
When fear creeps in for any reason, ask, “Who inside of me is afraid?” You may see or sense yourself at a certain age, or in a past life. If not make up an imaginary character that represents this fear. Send it love as you would love a fearful child. Wrap a blanket around you and invite the angels to come in and comfort you. Take a warm bath or shower as warmth often helps the body relax and release tensing vibrations. Breathe deeply. Love yourself when you are afraid and the fear often dissolves.
3. Embrace external uncertainty by creating internal certainty
As I joked above, don’t hate, debate, or wait… Create! We know this – we can’t control the outer world. But we CAN control our inner reality, our vibration, and we can manifest anything by finding it on the inside.
GIve yourself a few minutes a day, ideally when you first awaken to fantasize and FEEL what your perfect day would feel like. Really get juicy with the imagining until you feel like you are actually living that day. Do the same for your big dreams. Enjoy the sensations of fulfillment, joy, health, happiness, and abundance. Return to these feelings often.
Trust that the way the universe works is that if you intend or wish for anythng the wheels are set in motion to deliver it, and your job is to stay in joyous anticipation so you don’t get in the way.
Even in these wild times, spiritual principles stand true. They work. Our connection with the power within ourselves matters more than all our external efforts. Give yourself permission to seek happy thoughts in spite of external challenges, to love your life in spite of current limitations, and to focus on all the blessing you do have. Listen to your heart and honor your guidance.
We’ll get through this. But rather than just waiting for it all to end, why not work to enjoy the journey, to trust our guidance, and to serve through our joy, so in spite of all the craziness “out there,” we can continue to become happier, healthier people “in here” who rebirth ourselves more gracefully than the world is choosing to do at present.
Hello, Ann, I’ve just come thru this post of yours and felt like someting in me has just fit in me myself, and then I realized you provide us with print or make it pdf! I will keep it in my daily readings, for it looks like it is someone inside myself telling this to me now, after some time searching to find some truth or trying to act this or that way, although always urging for the good!
Thanks from Aracaju, Sergipe, northeast of Brazil
