It took me over three years to write my book, Love is the River: Learning to Live in the Flow of Divine Grace. I wondered it I’d ever get it done.
So when I had the sudden urge to lock myself in my office and work on it, I listened. Thirty hours, several cups of coffee, and a long weekend later, I emerged with a finished manuscript. I was elated. I also had no clue what I was going to do with it next.
The phone rang within minutes. A friend called to invite me to an event with James and Salle Redfield – authors of the best-selling “Celestine Prophecy.” Words of guidance popped into my mind. “Bring your manuscript.” It made no sense. The Redfields were surely busy and wouldn’t have time to read my book. They didn’t. Nonetheless, grace was at work.
At the event, I ran into a woman I hadn’t seen in years. Her career had evolved into organizing huge conferences that featured famous spiritual authors. “What are you up to?” she asked me as we chatted in the parking lot. I pulled my manuscript out of the car, “This,” I said, waving the freshly printed pages. “Give me that!” she insisted. She took off with my book.
A few weeks later I was invited to speak at a conference that also featured famous authors such as Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Doreen Virtue, Michael Beckwith, and many others. My topic… Living in the flow of grace!
This is how life was meant to work – without struggle or strain, guided, and in perfect timing, presenting you with opportunities you didn’t even ask for. I want this ease and grace for you. By following your directions, a 2-hour road trip through heavy, mega, city traffic, and then later, windswept traffic, became a trip through heaven. Please plan to arrive around 9:30am. The seminar will begin at 10am, so we’d like to have every seated by then if possible.

- From Phoenix, take I-17 north to Sedona.
- Take the AZ-179, EXIT #298 and turn left onto Highway 179.
- Follow this past Bell Rock, past the Hillside Galleries and shops and then before you cross the creek to the left, instead veer right (or go straight, depending on how you see things) onto Schnebly Hill Road.
- Go up the hill a few minutes and look to the left.
- Turn left at 333 Schnebly Hill Road, the Sedona Creative Life Center.
- Park in the Lot, walk up the hill or ride the elevator, and we are in the big room through the lobby off the main patio.
FOOD/DRINK:
There will be a break for lunch on your own around noon or so. If you want to bring a picnic lunch or snacks, please leave them in a cooler in your car.
No food is allowed in the room. You can, however, bring water. At the seminar we will provide handouts of local lunch spots, all within a few minutes drive.
