Thought for the Day:
When we think of holidays we often think of sweet treats. We need sweetness in our lives, if not via our diet, certainly via kind words, inspiring reading, and uplifting shows. We need soft textures, and best of all hugs. Share a little sweetness today in some form – a kind word, an encouraging hug, or maybe even a little candy cane handed to a stranger.
Prayer for the Day:
Dear God help my words and deeds be sweet comfort to others, and help me receive a bit of sweetness in my own life.
