Hi All,
Today, I was surprised and delighted when the angels suggested a simple and sweet little exercise to shift our vibe. They remind us how much beauty there is to appreciate, and how we will value so many small and forgotten moments at the end of our lives. I tried it and was amazed at how beautifully it lifted me into a vibe where I could emanate the peace this world so dearly needs. I think you'll enjoy it.
Have a blessed & beautiful week :)

My dear friends, we love you so very much,
Take a breath. For a moment, let your mind drift to pleasant memories—perhaps places you've been, food you've loved, or people who make you smile. Ask your spirit to bring back a sweet, happy, or cozy memory—maybe a time you read a good book, or sat sipping tea while watching the rain.
For some of you, this will be easy. For others, a bit more difficult—but don't give up. Just ask for a good memory and see what comes to mind.
Now, indulge yourself in a moment of nostalgia. See if you can remember more about this moment. If not, imagine it. Pay attention to the good feelings that arise. Allow yourself a little trip back in time, as long as it pleases you, noticing any memories of sights, sounds, feelings, tastes, or textures. Allow yourself to remember in as much sensory detail as you can.
Maybe you were petting a beloved pet. Perhaps you were a baby in a crib, watching a mobile drift above you in the breeze. Maybe you recall a first kiss, or the first time you felt someone's hands in yours. Maybe it was the relief of being with someone who finally felt safe, or the innocent rustle of autumn leaves as you jumped into a pile. Whatever arises, go there. Be with the feelings. Allow yourself to feel the goodness of that moment.
What you just accomplished was one moment of the glorious life review you will have in the afterlife. When you eventually leave your body, you will be flooded with memories of magical moments in your life—things that might have seemed small at the time, yet were rich, abundant, and filled with love and good feeling.
Every day, dear ones, there are opportunities to experience the love that life has to offer. Every day, there are small moments filled with big love—the aroma of your morning beverage, the feel of your blankets at night, a smile from a random stranger, a shift of sunlight falling perfectly upon your face.
As you focus on life, you tend to notice what must be done, what isn't done, what can't be done, what others are doing, and what you think you should be doing—when right in front of you, in so many ways, there is love to be felt and found.
You are not wrong to notice the things not yet accomplished. You are curious about one another, and of course, you have goals and desires for yourselves. These things are all part of life and are fine to ponder. Yet there is a richness to be found when you pause, here and now, and look for something to marvel at..
Can you spend a moment wondering about the artist who designed the pattern on your dishes? Can you take a moment to smell the scent of nature around you? Can you stop and feel the texture of a pillow in your home and allow the nerves in your hands to come to life once again? Can you touch your face kindly and marvel at the million sensations that arise—and imagine the incredible chemistry happening just beneath your skin from that one moment of kindness to self?
You are miraculous beings living in a miraculous world. Millions of tiny beings—your cells—live in your fingertip! Countless relationships and reactions occur in your body with every breath. A single seed unfurls in the ground as the cells within divide and are birthed at a rate unfathomable to most minds. Dear ones, your world is stunning, brilliant, beautiful, and meant to be viewed through the eyes of wonder.
So when you find yourself fretting about the things you must do, or what others are doing, pause for a moment and simply look around. Find one thing to appreciate. Really study it. The deeper you look, the more you will find. That leaf contains countless cells, veins, colors, and life. The coaster on your desk holds artwork dreamed up by someone who loved beauty and color. The pencil in your hand was once a living tree, harvested, shaped, filled, and joined with an eraser by a tiny metal band. Dear ones, the miraculous abounds.
You have a choice. You can focus on what makes you feel bad, or you can focus on what makes you feel awe, inspiration, and wonder. And the more you gaze at the world through the eyes of wonder, the more wonder-full you will feel.
You will slip into a vibration of wonder in which you can feel your soul, perceive those in spirit, and see through the eyes of the Source and your angels. To us, all of life is magical and miraculous—filled with wonder and the love you brave souls have called forth by choosing physical incarnation.
There would be no pencils had humans not desired to write. There would be no mugs had people not longed for flavorful beverages. There would be no chairs had someone not wished to sit in comfort.
Your willingness to wonder, to let your mind wander and ponder, calls love into the physical universe in countless ways. Your good feelings matter. Your sense of wonder matters. Your desire to seek what nourishes your spirit is a willingness to enjoy the love so freely offered.
You may wonder how this pays bills, heals hearts, or mends bodies—but we assure you that in a flow of wonder, awe, love, and grace, solutions arise. Chemistry returns to balance. Inspiration comes. And you become catalysts for greater love in your world.
Approach your days with a sense of wonder, dear friends, so life may once again become wonder-full.
God Bless You! We love you so very much.

Hi Everyone,
Sometimes when I channel the angels, I get a sense of what they're going to say beforehand. Other times, it comes as a complete and delightful surprise. Today was one of those surprises.
As they invited us to recall a good memory, I suddenly remembered the joy of flying a kite as a child. It was such a big deal to get my first kite that springtime. My brother and I carefully unwrapped our kites that were comprised of sturdy plastic wound around their wooden, chopstick-like axes. We carefully attached the fishing line our parents brought with the kites. Then we ran outside, waited for the wind, and ran as fast as we could while letting the line out. If we were lucky, the kites caught the breeze—tugging, pulling, and begging for flight and freedom as we unreeled the fishing line as fast as we could. Straining to look upward, we watched them dance in the sky, feeling a freedom that surely our souls recalled from other realms.
I had completely forgotten how much joy that brought me until the angels offered the exercise.
It made me wonder: how many other delicious memories live within me, forgotten yet waiting to delight? I wanted to do the exercise again! "Okay, soul, show me another good memory." Suddenly, I am on Lumahai beach in Kauai, on a rainy day, sitting alone on the sand. I have the beach all to myself. The surf is pounding furiously with a soothing roar. I scoop up handfuls of sand and allow them to pour through my fingers while I search for tiny green olivine crystals. After collecting a small vial of these treasures, I retreat from the rain and sit on a dampened log under the broad tropical leaves of the trees that line the beach. The rain-soaked earth is pure perfume, the surf better than any meditation CD, and the air chilly and damp. I am embraced by life itself. Yet another forgotten treasure in the trove of life experience.
Life can be insanely difficult—and yet so rich with magic moments as well.
Today is another cozy, rainy day. I already went to the center where I take my biweekly cold plunge. I'm looking forward to an evening of peeling and juicing this year's orange crop. Outside, my mulberry tree drops autumn leaves. Roses are blooming. Tomatoes are turning red. Lulu, my lemon tree, is bursting with abundance that feeds family and friends. Inside, I'm cozy in a T-shirt and flannel, writing this newsletter. Work doesn't feel like work when I notice all the goodness around me.
I could turn on the news and ruin my mood in thirty seconds—or I can tune into nature's news. I could worry about loved ones who are struggling—or I can be grateful for their courage to stay here and heal. I could stress about my to-do list—or trust the flow and enjoy the journey.
Even when we don't choose circumstances, we choose focus. Focus inspires vibration. Vibration inspires attraction. And on it goes.
I love the idea of asking our spirits for good memories, and I love that the ones that arise aren't necessarily the big ones. I didn't recall speaking at conferences, graduating from college, or buying a house. Instead, my soul chose tiny magical moments—sparkling sprinkles on the cupcake of life :)
I like this exercise. I'm going to do it often and allow my soul to share its view of life's beauty with me. That feels good.
Here are a few ways you can focus on those magic moments, and how they can help you through life's heavier moments:
1.
Deliberately Enjoy a Magic Morning Moment
When we awaken, our minds can quickly pick up where we left off the night before—racing through the to-do lists or obsessing about the challenges we face. We can easily and deliberately set the day off to a better start by creating a "magic morning moment"—a moment of focusing on something that inspires good feelings or a sense of being blessed.
Before you even open your eyes, take a breath and feel the air in your lungs. Feel the coziness of the blankets or the comfort of your pillow. Ask your spirit for a magic moment, and as you open your eyes, see what you notice first.Appreciate it.
You can prepare the night before by keeping something close to the bed that inspires you. Try a deck of affirmation cards, an aromatherapy scent, a favorite photo or quote, or a crystal you love.
You can extend your magic morning moment by enjoying the scent of the soap in the shower or the feel of the water. You can appreciate your breakfast or coffee, or you can make a small altar and spend a moment lighting a candle and praying for the day.
Get creative and make this ritual your own. The deliberate practice of creating a magic morning moment can set your whole day off to a better start.
2. When You Don't Feel Good, Look for Good
You get interrupted and work and suddenly feel you'll never get ahead. Something breaks. A big repair is required. Someone you love is having troubles. When life throws you a curve, before jumping into panicked action, pause. Breathe. Look for something good to appreciate, feel, smell, or enjoy.
This tiny pause shifts you from fearful reactions into a high vibe where you'll take efficient, effective, and guided action.
3. Play the Angels' Good Memory Game
Ask yourself, "Soul, give me a good memory." See what arises from within. Indulge in the memory. Feel the good feelings.
Remember that when viewed from heaven, your life is rich with these moments and filled with love's many mini miracles.
Life isn't always wine and roses, but the wine and roses are there to be appreciated. The dripping of today's rain is a meditation in and of itself. The coffee on my desk has a comforting smell. And thinking of all you reading this, committed to being the love and the peace, makes me smile.
Right before I finished this newsletter, I saw a horrific video that I couldn't un-see. After my stomach turned and I had a good cry, I prayed for all involved. I prayed for peace in the world. I sat and emanated all the love in my heart, and it burned like fire as the energy turned on within me.
To calm the inner storm, I asked my spirit for another memory of peace, and one arose. Years ago, when visiting friends, I awakened on an air mattress on the floor, nestled under a pile of cozy blankets. A cool and gentle rain dripped quietly outside the windows. My hosts brought me a mug of steaming tea. It was pure stillness. I had forgotten.
I marinated for a moment in the memory, then projected the feeling outward. I imagined a world at peace and felt the soothing flow of energy radiating outward. It might seem small and insignificant, and yet every kind vibration we emanate matters and adds to the upliftment of the whole.
You never know who your loving wave might wash over in their time of need. Our vibrations are real. Our peace, our joy, our inspiration is tangible energy that can be felt. Some day it will be measurable, but for now we must trust that the love we feel and share is a gift to the collective.
While some make war, we can ask for and share vibrations of love. While others argue and kill, we can find agreement with life's beauty. And while there is much to grieve at times, there are also so many things that our dear ones in the heavens, from their new blissful vantage point, long for us to celebrate.
The violence and hatred in the world are real, but far more powerful and prevalent is the love that sources our very being. We need not wait until the afterlife to see and feel the good that is all around. We can ask our souls to help us see and remember the beauty of our human lives here and now.
May your week be filled with many mini miracles and a myriad of magic moments. (Say that ten times fast!)
Have a blessed week,
Love,
Ann |

Recipe of the Week |
| Lemon-Tahini Stewed Vegetable Soup (Levantine-Style) |
 |
It is lemon season in my yard and I'm trying a lot of new recipes. This Middle Eastern style sou features lemon, garlic, and tahini (ground sesame paste) which thickens the broth without dairy. So yummy.
Vegetarian and dairy free
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 6 cups vegetable broth
- 3/4 cup tahini, well stirred
- 1/2 to 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice (to taste)
- Zest of 1 to 2 lemons
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
- Optional: red pepper flakes
- Optional: cooked rice or wild rice
- Optional: cooked chicken if you want a meatier version
Directions
-
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft and lightly golden, about 8 to 10 minutes.
-
Add garlic, cumin, coriander, turmeric, and cinnamon (if using). Stir and cook for 1 minute till fragrant.
-
Add the cauliflower, potatoes, chickpeas, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a gentle simmer. Cook uncovered until the vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together the tahini, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Slowly whisk in 1 cup of hot broth from the pot to temper and loosen the mixture until smooth.
-
Pour the tahini mixture back into the pot and stir gently. Simmer 5 minutes more. If the soup becomes too thick, add a splash of water or broth.
If using chicken or rice, add it now.
-
Season with salt and black pepper. Stir in the chopped parsley or cilantro just before serving.
Serve warm with pita or crusty bread. For extra flavor, add another small squeeze of lemon at the table. A drizzle of olive oil and a pinch of pepper flakes on top are also excellent. I like to add some cooked wild rice for extra nutrition.
This soup keeps well f in the fridge. It will thicken as it sits; thin with a little broth or water when reheating and adjust lemon and salt to taste.
