  Queen's bath is a hidden gem on Kauai's north shore. Tucked away on a stretch of rocky coastline in a residential neighborhood, you'd never find it if you didn't know it was there.
In the calm summer months, this semi-protected swimming hole is a wonderful pool in which to snorkel and play.
In winter through spring, however, beware! The surf comes crashing in and over the lava rocks, and even photographers must be careful not to get pulled in. If you respect the ocean, you're sure to enjoy the view!

Take Hwy. 56 north till you reach Princeville. Turn right onto Ka Haku Road (there is a guard house at the entrance). Go till you locate Punahele road and take a right onto it. Just before the dead end of Punahele you will see Kapiolani. Turn right onto Kapiolani and park just to the left on a stretch of grass near the houses. Follow the dirt path down to Queen's bath. Be careful in the winter when the waves are high.
