Birthing Self

Blossoming I break forth
from a cocoon of old beliefs
and limiting forms I once held dear.

Did I shed a tear?
Nay, a thousand maybe.
An ocean of disappointments and disillusions
drowned me.

'till I realized I was the ocean.

I caught a current,
and drifted utnil...
I found the song lines of a whale
and followed her.

My heart set sail.

Dove to the depths and confronted my spirit
No comfort there -
raw honest heat
blinding light
truth hurts when you dare.

I found silence and the roar of the heavens echoed in stillness
love cannot hide.

I emerge.
Queen, mother, bride,
inside now outside.
